At the heart of our local community in Tyldesley, Atherton and Astley since 2012, the Pelican Centre helps people to feel good mentally, physically and socially through fitness, friendship and charitable support. We're now proud to be Wigan Borough's largest independent charitable facility, and we work closely with other single-site centres around the country to support community ownership of these essential amenities. Fully independent, self-funded through memberships and a registered charity, our affordable and accessible swim, gym, classes and community spaces help you to achieve your fitness goals and offer fantastic opportunities to learn a new skill, to connect with others and to support those who need it.
