The Norwich Lads Amateur Boxing Club was founded in 1918 by John Henry Dien with the aim of giving local young people a place to learn the art of boxing while keeping them off the streets, giving them a purpose and identity. 100 years on, the club is still going strong thanks to the dedication and hard work of it's custodians. For the young men and women who buy into the clubs ethos 'speak true, live pure' they learn the importance of friendship, belonging, commitment, dedication and family. There is however a very serious side to this club and only the truly committed and dedicated survive!
