Wide Lane Sports Grounds were opened in 2005 by UoS Alumnus and Sports Broadcaster, John Inverdale. The University has invested PS4.3 million in the re-development of the 76 acre facility in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council and the Football Foundation Facilities: 2 Floodlit Synthetic turf pitches 8 Floodlit tennis courts (2 non-floodlit also available at Avenue Campus) Large pavilion with conference rooms and bar Team Southampton Gym* - a dedicated Strength and Conditioning facility Sports Performance Centre Grass Pitches
